For most treatments, yes. A consultation runs 45 minutes and costs $75, and you can have it in person or by video — whichever suits. It depends on the treatment. After XERF you can usually return to your normal activities right away; some people have mild warmth, redness or swelling afterwards, which typically settles within 24 hours. After Genius RF your skin may look pink or mildly swollen, like a light sunburn — this usually improves within 24 to 36 hours, though full recovery can take up to a week. After LaseMD Ultra mild redness is common and you can generally resume regular activities right away, with the skin taking about 5 to 7 days to fully heal. Your response varies with the treatment settings and your own skin, and your provider will explain what to expect for your specific treatment.

Topical numbing is applied. XERF feels like an intense hot stone massage, with a cooling sensation between pulses — some areas feel more intense than others. Your provider will talk you through what to expect before you start, and will adjust as you go.

Your treatment is carried out by Tina Schwarz, L.E. — owner and Lead Aesthetician, with more than 20 years in aesthetics and skin health — or by Jasmine Zaretsky, L.E., the practice's Senior Laser Hair Technician. The Medical Director is Dr. Edward Lee, a board-certified plastic surgeon.
