CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical Peels

A Chemical Peel is a solution that exfoliates dead skin cells to promote rapid cell turnover. After a peel, your skin will begin to flake or peel and then shed off. This will restore healthier, brighter, younger-looking skin. At Zaretsky Aesthetics, we have chemical peels for different skin concerns.

BioRePeel is a non-invasive treatment that harnesses the power of biorevitalization and peeling to rejuvenate and repair the skin. This advanced procedure utilizes a patented 2-phase technology, starting with a lipophilic phase that helps infiltrate the lipid structure of the stratum corneum, followed by a hydrophilic phase that works to exfoliate the dead skin cells and promote collagen and elastin production. The treatment can be applied to various areas, including the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and even areas with acne, such as the back and chest. Ideal for individuals seeking a youthful, vibrant appearance, BioRePeel is appropriate for anyone looking to diminish signs of aging, acne scars, or pigmentation.

PCA Peel with Hydroquinone

FAQs

Chemical peels treat the following concerns:

  • Sun Damage
  • Acne
  • Signs of Aging
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Scarring

A chemical peel has many benefits, including fuller, plumper skin, better tone and texture, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, and a brighter, more glowing complexion.

Chemical peel treatments can be performed relatively quickly by applying a safe and effective solution to the skin. This chemical solution improves the skin’s appearance by eliminating dead skin cells and replacing them with healthier skin cells. The damaged skin will peel off, resulting in healthy, radiant skin.

It can take up to ten days to shed the old, damaged skin and reveal the healthier skin underneath—plan for considerable flaking and shedding the first-week post-treatment. Do not pick at the shedding skin. Do not exfoliate, rub your face, or use a towel. “Helping” your skin shed can lead to scarring. We recommend gently patting your skin dry and following the post-treatment protocol.
